As part of the Bremer School Action Project Class 2b have spent eight weeks finding out about the life of the Kuna Indians of Panama. Every week they visited the Mola Art Forum in Schwachhausen and sewed felt bags, weaved dancing bands and found out lots of interesting things about the Kuna. Here in the school they have also been looking at the everyday life of the Kuna Indians. They have made Indian boats and model canoes and learned the canoe songs as well. They have been playing pan pipes and trying papayas and coconuts. At the end of the two month project there was a presentation in the classroom for parents and kids from other classes who were interested in what 2b had been doing.
